Adaptive & Responsive Architecture: Books to Take Note
For those who are interested in kinetics in architecture and computing. I highly recommend the following books (two in which I still need to find myself!)
(Absolutely fantastic book and relatively new! Edited by Rachel Armstrong and Simone Ferracina)
Move: Architecture in Motion: Dynamic Components and Elements. This book I don't have, so if anyone has a copy please let me know!

I suspect that this will come out sometime soon (as it was presented at the past ACADIA conference at the UW Empire), but Kinectic Architecture: Designs for Active Envelopes by Russell Fortmeyer and Charles Linn looks to be a promising book. The authors are very enthusiastic and based upon what was shown would likely resonate with several in the studio. I have also had the book put on request in the library so that should it be available this term, we should have it.
